Carter Futures Ltd, a small family run business based in Lincolnshire, has agreed to donate 10% of the company’s net profits to the Kamuli Mission Hospital through the Rotary Doctor Bank charity. David Carter, the Managing Director, has indicated that the company has agreed to make a long term commitment to the project, with an initial involvement of 3 years from 1st July 2011.
The Company has asked Dr Jim McWhirter to act as its representative in all matters relating to the administration and allocation of funds, but also will work with the hospital through Jim to identify suitable capital and revenue projects that they can support.
The Magical Summer Sunday Lunch held at Bix Manor, Henley and organised by the Rotary Club of Henley Bridge raised more than £13,000 for the Hospital. Well done everyone!
Jill Brooks organised a pub quiz attended by 120 in her local, The Red Lion, in Brightwell-cum-Sotwell, Oxfordshire. It was a great evening enjoyed by all and raised a magnificent £930 for the Hospital.
